On the occasion of the biggest holidays of the Muslim year, tens of thousands of expatriates from around the jam jam shed the car dock to welcome home celebration.
In these days, billions of Muslims around the world celebrate one of the country's biggest festival day in the year - Eid al-Fitr. This is also the moment marked the end of Ramadan sacred Muslim community.
The trains are always packed with visitors. For lack of space, many people are willing to risk sitting on the roof or under the chamber cling.
At the 3-day holiday, the Muslim hustle back home preparing for the ceremony. This is a chance those working away from home to return to reunite with family, pray for good luck and prosperity. In Bangladesh these days, the station, the ferry pier, the station always in a state packed with people. Due to limited traffic, not enough to meet the travel needs of residents, congestion and climbing on the roof to escape ticket occur frequently.
Many young people choose to follow the ship to return home.
Eid al-Fitr feast, also known as Bayram, is a major religious holiday of the Muslims, was held on 1 Shawwal (the 10th month in the Islamic calendar). Holidays usually lasts from 3 days to 1 week. Like the Vietnamese lunar calendar or Chinese, the time of the Eid al-Fitr is not fixed and varies each year.
Although local governments in Bangladesh ranked more enhanced online but still not enough to meet the travel needs of the people.
